Tim Osborne - Board Chair, Independent (2018-) *Est Board

Tim is a Chartered Accountant of 20 years and brings his experience in finance, commerce, accounting, and leading financial strategies in both private and public sectors. Tim brings his leadership experience in sharing knowledge to collaborate, inspire, and cultivate innovation to all his governance roles. With three children currently in the Primary Sports Canterbury program and a huge passion for sport. Tim is highly motivated to see Primary Sports Canterbury succeed and is committed to seeing, increased opportunities for physical activity across Canterbury for our tamariki.

Dave Scott - Member (Medbury School 2024-)

​​​​​​​Dave is an innovative, energetic and highly experienced future focused principal and educational leader. He is currently the Head Master at Medbury Preparatory School. Dave thrives on challenges and loves facilitating those 'aha moments' that change mindsets and open new possibilities. He is a champion of holistic values based education and his extensive all around experience makes him an asset on the Primary Sports Canterbury Board.

Louis Bertie - Member (Christchurch South Karamata, 2022-)

Louis is an educator with experience in senior leadership, mentorship and special projects delivery, following 15 years’ experiences as a primary school teacher. He is passionate about growing physical and sporting participation opportunities for primary and intermediate children. With over 10 years involvement as a member of the Primary Sports Committee he brings a strong practical knowledge of the Primary Sports Canterbury Organisation.

Rochelle Paul - Member (Russley School, 2021-)

Rochelle is a primary school teacher. She currently teaches part time at a local school where she is also the sports coordinator and teacher in charge of student leadership. Rochelle has always had a passion for sport and has been an advocate for it to play a part in children’s education. Sport has the potential to teach children so much and she is passionate about ensuring the opportunities and experiences that allow this to happen. The breadth of her experience allows her to wear many different hats, understanding involvement in sport from the point of view of a participator, a teacher, a parent, a coach and a sports coordinator. 

Georgia Novell - Secretary (2024-)

Georgia was emplyed by Primary Sports Canterbury in an Operations Coordinator role at the beginning of 2025. Part of this role was to also take on the Secretary position for the Board. Georgia brings with her experience across a variety of administrative role in both New Zealand and overseas.​​​​​​​
